In 2012, I was fortunate to receive the Mercer Award. This offers a 3 month residency at Studio Sem in Pietrasanta, Italy. The Award is designed to provide established sculptors, working in materials other than stone, the opportunity to discover the expressive possibilities of marble. This work was shown at the Royal British Society of Sculptors in November 2013.
